I love to simplify the complicated. I'm proudly efficiency obsessed. Organization and simplification is a game, which I particularly enjoy playing as a team sport.

At the foundation of my UX research process lie social science methods learned while getting a Master's degree at University of Michigan. Working with a team of designers, clients, and stakeholders, I apply these techniques to digital products, from which our findings inform UX design. 

I'm inspired by the user. I envision the journey through their eyes. I use research findings and empathy to imagine feeling their emotions, then use creative problem-solving to design engaging experiences. The results are insightful and impactful information architectures, wireframes, and iterations of prototypes, that cater to user needs and client goals. 

By my own nature, I'm compelled to express information through art as a means of influencing feelings, motivating actions, and driving behaviors. 

This is the confluence of my UX/UI design and art direction skills. I generate brand standards, style guides, color palettes, typographic scales, images, graphics, layouts, and interactive design items to meticulously build campaigns, responsive websites, social media assets, interactive media, email flyers, banner ads, mastheads and more.

I'm at my best when teaming up with co-workers. I strive to keep the work moving and the atmosphere harmonious. I consider everyone involved on my project to be my teammates. This includes not only fellow-creatives, but also colleagues in account, legal, and production. For me, team culture can make or brake my enjoyment of a job.

To keep projects running smoothly, I design intuitive, efficient, user-friendly processes that enable us all to collaborate on our craft. I design interconnected webs of folders, libraries, components, copy docs, templates, layouts, and images. I maximize my capabilities by quickly learning new software, and incorporating new technologies into our workflows.

As a UX/UI Designer and Art Director, I understand the impact that communication, organization and clarity have on maximizing team creativity.
